Welcome to iOS Essentials! This is a blog that is intended to help people without a technical background learn how to develop apps for the App Store. In other words, these posts start out very basic, and we move up from there until you have a solid foundation to build upon. Despite what you may think, it is possible! I know because I was there. I feel that I have a unique perspective as one who spent a lot of time trying to learn this material the wrong way. I want to help anyone I can so that they don't have to go through what I did.
The purpose of this blog is to help you get the foundation you need to make sense of the tutorials that are out there on the web already. There are a lot of tutorials that explain things to people that already have a basic foundation. But what about people that don't have that foundation? If they don't work really really really hard to get that foundation, they bail.
This blog will give you the foundation you need to get going in the amazingly lucrative and unbelievably enjoyable world of iOS app development. Please subscribe to this blog and I will update it regularly with lots of helpful tutorials.
